Aux for Windows - Changelog 13 October 2023

Today is a big day for Aux! We're launching the Windows version of the Aux Hub app after several months of Beta testing. Microsoft stans can now get the full Aux experience and can collaborate with your Mac using friends and collaborators. Share projects between your PC and Mac from home to studio and back!

Note: while we're waiting for our app signing certificate to be approved you will have to click "More info" then "Run anyway" in the Windows Defender popup. We'll release an update very soon that is signed so you won't have to do this in future!

Here are the other massive features included in this release:

Features:

• Added a new File Info view to give you a detailed view of each of your files and lets you tag your own files to help you find them better!
• We split out file sync actions and notifications in the menu to make it easier to keep track of key notifications like connection requests and project invites:

• We have rebuilt the feed to load almost instantly and show only the most important events from across your projects
• Now you can now open your DAW directly from the web using the “Open in X” links. This will now trigger the app to open which will then launch your DAW

Fixes:

• We’ve made major performance improvements to the files section and feed so the app works as quickly as you expect!
• Made email confirmation
• Fixed a rare issue where a file would miss its preview or waveform if it was uploaded multiple times in a short period of time
• Fixed an issue where comments left on the DAW simple view weren’t linked to the timestamp
• Fixed an issue where trashing a project in the app would prevent a project with the same name from syncing again
• Fixed a bug where adding stems from the existing stems folder within a project would fail
