The Aux Changelog - Latest Features and Fixes as of 16 June 2022

Progress continues at Aux as we head toward the launch of the first version of our dekstop app. Once again we would be knowhere without those of you that are engaging with the Beta version of Aux and providing feedback. Thank you so much. Check out the list of new updates and fixes below.

Files

  • Updates to the way the files archive works in Projects and Files.
  • Chat inputs now support multiple lines of text! So whether you’re pasting in notes from another app or writing a short essay, hit SHIFT + ENTER to create a new line:
  • Super long folder names are now handled better in the listings.
  • File uploads now shows successful uploads more clearly.
  • Added a warning if you try to close the page while an upload is still in progress.
  • Mute small video previews by default.

Projects

  • When archiving a file from the project -> file view, you will now be taken back to the project homepage.
  • You'll no longer suggest yourself as a contact in the project invite input.
  • You can now permanently delete projects

Bug Fixes/ Miscellaneous

  • More updates for the Desktop app Alpha version. To join the Alpha testing list, fill out this form.
  • Fixed the back and forward buttons in the header.
  • A range of security updates to keep Aux safe and secure.
  • Improved the column resizing to set some more sensible minimum widths.
  • Made the search results panel resize more fluidly to smaller screens.
