The Aux Changelog - Latest Features and Fixes as of 11 May 2022

Welcome ! The Aux tech team has a new update today, this one is focused bug fixes, quality of life improvements and preparation for our Desktop app Beta. Take a scroll down this post and log back in to check what's changed since you were last with us.

Before we dive in, remember that we're building Aux for you. You can contribute to the product in two ways; you can submit features ideas directly to our public roadmap and email your thoughts questions and ideas directly to the Aux team.

Here's a rundown of the fixes and features in the last two weeks:

Connect Blog

• Made the tags on the blog page easy to see with dark background images
• Added share buttons to the connect posts page

Projects

• Removed the unnecessary project link field from private project pages
• Added email notification when you get new messages in your project
• Added a new “Upload” button to project homepages that let you directly upload new files into your projects
  

Files

• Prevent files that are in the middle of being processed from being copied or moved
• Lots of work on making uploading Garageband files more reliable - they are an odd format that requires custom compression while uploading to make sure data is not lost
• Added support for AIFF-C file types
• Fixed a bug which caused some files not to copy correctly when copying large trees of deeply nested files and folders
• Added file name limitations to get ready for the desktop app
• Updated the way archiving works to make it more logical
  

Miscellaneous

• A big update to our permissions system behind the scenes to prepare for advanced team permissions in future versions of the app
• Fixed a bug that prevented the deletion of profiles
• Fixed the coupon code field when upgrading your account
  

Aux Guide

• Made the Discover page load more results more smoothly
• Bring the search field and filter from the signed out Discover page to the signed in Discover page
