The Aux Changelog - Latest Features and Fixes as of August 25

Our devs are, as always, hard at work making small changes and fixes to our platform, steadily heading towards the first version of our desktop app. We can't wait to share it with all of you that have signed up for our Alpha.

Once again we would be nowhere without those of you that are engaging with the Beta version of Aux and providing feedback. Thank you so much. Check out the list of new updates and fixes below.

We want to hear from you about what you'd like to be implemented into Aux. Get in touch via social media (@auxdotapp), send us an email at hello@aux.app or you can contribute to our public roadmap here.

Projects:

  • Members of projects can no longer archive project folders, if you want to remove a project folder from your files section you have to leave the project.
  • Made the error message much more clear if you try to accept a project invite from the wrong account.
  • Fixed a bug where the project name would have “ 2” added to the name on save.
  • Fixed a bug where the message field would empty itself if you took too long to type your message.

Files:

  • The files section now load Folders and Files separately to work more like Google Drive and to improve the speed of loading when you have a lot of files and folders.
  • Fixed a bug where you would have to refresh to see your first file upload.
  • We fixed a bug where nested folders wouldn’t be archived correctly.
  • Added a sync button to the header for the upcoming desktop app.

Miscellaneous:

  • As you approach or reach your plan limit a banner will appear to make it clear when you need to upgrade.
  • We’ve also massively improved the upgrade flow, making it clear to see when discounts have been correctly applied to your upgrade.
  • Ongoing security improvements.
