The Aux Changelog - Latest Features and Fixes as of August 16

Progress continues at Aux as we head toward the launch of the first version of our dekstop app. Once again we would be nowhere without those of you that are engaging with the Beta version of Aux and providing feedback. Thank you so much. Check out the list of new updates and fixes below.

We want to hear from you about what you'd like to be implemented into Aux. Get in touch via social media (@auxdotapp), send us an email at hello@aux.app or you can contribute to our public roadmap here.

Enhanced Commenting:

We have been working hard over the last month to give Aux commenting superpowers:

  • You can now edit and delete your own comments if you make a typo.
  • You can also reply to others in a threaded chat.
  • When the conversation gets involved you can now clear up your projects feed and waveform by resolving threads of comments. Resolved threads will be minimised in the feed and waveform so you can focus on what’s new.

Projects / Files

  • When you’re leaving a comment, the timestamp of the comment no longer moves with the track playback. This is a small detail but it really helps leave precise comments while listening through to your mix.
  • Video files now show a warning if they are not playable on the web.

Bug Fixes/ Other Bits

  • We prepped some updates to the digital guide for the upcoming [Aux Guide launch](https://aux.app/info/the-aux-guide).
  • We’ve continued to add features and code in preperation for the second alpha of the desktop app, coming soon.
  • It’s now super clear what discount you will get when when you’re adding coupon codes before you click upgrade!
  • Fixed a bug with the main and project feeds flashing their empty messages even if you have messages.
  • A number of small bug fixes.
