The Aux Changelog - Latest Features as of 10 February 2022

Today's update is a big one, the first update on the path to deeper integration with your must production workflow. Take a scroll down this post and log back in to check what's changed since you were last with us.

Before we dive in, remember that we're building Aux for you. You can contribute to the product in two ways; you can submit features ideas directly to our public roadmap and email your thoughts questions and ideas directly to the Aux team.

Here's a rundown of the fixes and features in the last two weeks:

Projects/Files

  • Timestamped commenting that allows you and your project collaborators to leave detailed feedback right on the waveform.
  • Your starred files, folders and projects are now unique to each member of the teams plan.
  • A load of backend changes to get the platform ready for launching our Desktop app. If you’re interested in testing the Alpha version of the desktop app get in touch.
  • Fixed a bug where your plan usage wasn’t showing correctly if you reach your plan storage limit.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the app to crash if you created a folder without any existing files in your profile.

Profile

  • The custom location field on your profile has been removed, instead, you can add a tag with your location to be found on the Discover page.

Accessibility

  • We’ve updated our font sizes throughout the app to make scaling consistent for visually impaired users who need to increase the font size.

Miscellaneous

  • It’s now more clear which plan you already have when switching plans in the settings and on the pricing page.
  • We added back in the password reset page which was unlinked when we launched the new login and signup pages.
