The Future of Aux in 2024

Aux started in 2021 with a 5 year plan to build one single platform for musicians to create, collaborate on, and make money from their music. The first step in our plan was to crack remote music collaboration, allowing musicians to keep using the DAW they love, keep their projects backed up, and chat about their changes in the same app. The second step was to help musicians make money, to achieve this we acquired a company called Dizzyjam and have just announced Direct, the ultimate direct-to-fan monetisation platform.

After 18 months the Aux Hub collaboration app is super stable across Windows, Mac and Web and is far and away the best way to backup and collab on DAW projects out there. Now it's time for the next steps! We've been working behind the scenes on four massive new extensions to the Aux platform that we've been quietly testing since September. Each of these products will be released within the next year, making Aux an essential companion at every step of your music career:

Sounds and LoopLM

Aux's founder, as well as being a drummer and entreprenuer, is an AI engineer who began studying an AI degree in 2018. Over the last six months, he has created an entirely new generative AI model called LoopLM. LoopLM is a transformer-based generative AI model designed to generate short 2-10 second single instrument audio samples in full 44.1KHz sample rate, and it's trained on a fully licenced catelog samples from some of the most popular sample libraries out there.

Enough of the tech talk, what this means for musicians is that Aux is the first company to offer a samples subsciption where every sample is unique. Type the sound and style you want, set the length of the sample and LoopLM will create never before heard loops for you to use, royalty free, in your music.

Mastering

Mastering your tracks is now an essential step to make your music stand out in a sea of releases, but most artists don't have the money to spend on a good master of their tracks when they're starting out. Aux's latest generation of AI powered mastering gives your tracks the professional level boost with full customisation of the style and approach to how you want your songs to sound.

Distribution

Simple really, after you've finished your latest tracks and they're synced up to your Aux storage, you can one-click push to over 100 streaming services including Apple Music and Spotify. This extends our mission to help musicians make more money from their music. Every Aux plan will include free unlimited distribution by the end of 2024. After all, if you're not on Spotify these days, then how are you going to get discovered?

Promotion

Once you're on Spotify, how do you stand out? With Aux Promote you can quickly create wide reaching, targeted promotion campaigns for your release using AI generated video ads across TikTok and Instagram. Add your release, set your target streams and get results quickly!
